Australian Open Champion Novak Djokovic defeated Lleyton Hewitt 6-2, 6-2 in the quaterfinals of Artois Championship to face Nalbandian in the semifinals who overcame Richard Gasquet in a three set thriller.Due to this defeat Hewitt's bid for a record 5th title came to an end at the pre wimbledon warm up event.
